La Contenta is a restaurant website that offers a traditional Mexican menu with French accents for the savvy foodie. The aim was to create a mobile friendly website with engaging content and easy navigation while communicating their core values.
Strategy / Responsive Web Design / Front-End Development
BNU continues to have new members everyday. There is a large number of motorcyle enthusiasts and BNU had created an online community where they can share their passion. With a lot of travelers as their main audience, BNU thought it was time to create an mobile app since it seems to be the norm and removes the need to be on desktop.
La Contenta had a unique and very specific vision for their brand and restaurant. Culture was very important for them and wanted their customers to experience it by the ambiance, with every dish, music, and drinks. Design was centered around their established logo, whereas functionality and information of the website were put to the front to make sure that there was a complement between La Contenta’s values and their customers desires and needs.
With the understanding of most customers/diners are always on the go, they are looking for dining options and probably viewing a restaurant website connecting with a wide range of devices so the entire website was designed mobile first.
La contenta ON DESKTOP
To keep the feeling of seamless navigation, I translated the mobile design to desktop in simple grid based elements.
Along with their online presence, La Contenta requested designs for their restaurant such as menus, business cards and packaging materials.
